Things To Be Done.

Things to be done is a methodology for exposing and diffusing dramas of innovation and innovators dramas.
Over the years, I've noticed how hard it is to organize and prioritize challenges in innovation endeavors.
Knowledge and experience gaps, a high degree of uncertainty, and overwhelming constraints make innovations dramatic and make any attempt to address dramas even more dramatic.
We need an organizing method for handling lacunas, so they don't blow up in our faces.
Lacunas are inherited lackings, voids, missing pieces in the puzzle. It will be vain and arrogant to pretend we don't have them. One cannot know and experience everything in advance. So accepting lacunas is an excellent way to keep our minds open to new insights, knowledge, and practices.
But finding what we don't know we don't know, or what we'd rather ignore than attend, is not an easy task. It takes a lot of experience, confidence, and knowledge to switch off the Psychological preservation mechanism that shields us from our own flaws.
No one likes seeing their weak sides, especially when the risks and the odds are high. So we intuitively reject things we don't understand or conflict with our perceptions of ourselves.
In short, I found critical thinking to be inaccessible. Complicated, heavily induced, and loosely invited. If we want to transform, we must increase our capacity to overcome conformity while reducing the cost of critical thinking.
Critical thinking should be gradual, self-guided, and simple enough to notice when it's becoming overwhelming. Furthermore, it should be cheap and scalable, with no entry threshold and not performance limit.
Whether you are thinking about your own challenges or advising someone else, Things To Be Done is a simple idea with simple thinking tools that help you organize and evaluate theories of change for any type of challenge. TTBD will also help reduce communication barriers, identify operational complications and guide your learning without any preparation.
It's not a secret that if you want something, other things need to be done first. Things to be done will help you solve the mystery of what are those things exactly.
